Michaelangelo’s Pizza Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
Last time I've been here was about 8 years ago, but we've moved back to the area in the last few months. We wondered from there today. The good and service were both top notch. Thank you. Wings, pizza, and staff are all 5 stars.
The pizza was delicious. The service was good. I'll need to try some of the other items on the menu. There is a nice outside dining area.
Had dinner tonight at Michelangelo's in Cherry Hill. Raising my kids in Cherry Hill, it was their favorite pizza going all the way back to when they were in the strip mall on Kresson Road. They have a come way since then, as a very elegant casual Italian Restaurant. I always enjoy my meals here. Tonight, we shared a Clams Casino appetizer, she had the Pasta Carbonara and I had the Veal Parmesan. Everything was well prepared with excellent ingredients. Service was spectacular, as always. They are BYOB.
The pizza really hit the spot and tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly and made the visit enjoyable. I am excited to come back and explore more options from the menu. The outdoor seating area is a great bonus and perfect for relaxing while eating.
My son and I had lunch there on Sunday. We are both very picky. We were both utterly blown away by the hostess, the pizza could not have been cheesier nor more flavorful! My Penne ala Vodka was just right-spicy, rich and flavorful. This restaurant is a must do!!!
A family favorite for tasty and simple pizza and pasta dishes The portions are very generous. Their pizza and gnocchi are what my family typically orders and enjoys
There was a large Union workers party going on so it's quite filled I had the pizza turnover with pepperoni was delicious with ginger ale. My granddaughter had french fries and onion rings which she enjoyed. My wife had the chicken pasta soup she loved it she's been feeling a bit under the weather and it seemed to help her. My daughter had slice of pizza pepperoni and plain also four garlic knots she enjoyed. There is plenty of leftovers enough to fill two small pizza boxes. It seemed it was good value All the meals. The waitress was attentive and polite. The atmosphere was your typical American Italian pizza parlor decor. I would go there again and would recommend it if you're in the area. Some of the items on the menu seem to be a bit pricey but like I said I didn't try them. Our total bill came to $60 for for people. The bathroom was large and clean. It was handicap parking. Not sure how accessible handicap wise the entrance was.
The food was extremely expensive, took forever to come out, and was absolutely delicious. Apps were all $10+ like sauteed mushrooms, for almost $13. Calamari fritto was closer to $15. Entrees all in the $20-$40 range. We were with a large group, and it was pretty busy, so that probably held things up in the kitchen. After we were all seated, bread came out a half hour later. Then the apps another half hour after. Then eventually soup and salad, and finally the entrees. So from sitting down to getting entrees, it was well over two hours. Just about everything I tried was made very well. The sauteed mushrooms weren't particularly special (especially for the price,) but the calamari was cooked perfectly. Not chewy or overdone in the slightest. Possibly the best I've ever had. Also the bread. Garlic bread was alright, but the bread underneath was wonderful. Just, the best, most delicate, pull apart in your mouth delicious bread I've had in a very long time. I ate it as-is, no butter or anything. (Later realized the butter was buried in the bottom of the bread basket.) It did start to get stiff when it cooled, so it wasn't nearly as enjoyable. Make sure to go after the rolls while they're still hot. I got the veal saltimbocca, which was incredible. Very salty and filling, but the meat was tender and everything was flavorful. I got it over fettuccine, and for some reason, their fettuccine noodles were extraordinarily large, to the point I was wondering if I was misremembering what fettuccine looks like. Very odd, but didn't really detract from the meal. Overall, a great high class restaurant, if you're not in any kind of rush, and possibly, if someone else is paying the bill. I also snagged pictures of a few other plates at the table, including veal francese, penne vodka, and a stromboli.
